Grande Kuloar!

The weathermen were not so sure about last Friday; however - Burek, Nejc and I were more then sure! At first, the plan was to reach the Kotovo Pass (2134m) and Nejc was very fond of such destination. Burek, on the other side, likes to push the limits and therefore wanted to go through the "Kuloar!" So during the whole ascent, Nejc was under constant pressure and persuasion from Burek, to change his mind. Well, around 1700m high, he finally gave up. And so it was - through the great Kuloar - the hole that resembles a passage to heaven. We were quick and the ascent was wonderful. It took us only four hours to reach the top of the Kuloar (2380m) - and heaven it was.

But after sun - it always rains. Chilly clouds appeared on the sky and the worst of all, Nejc broke his ski binding right on the top. A few cuss words and Nejc was in a good mood again. He descended on foot, while Burek and I skied like two hungry lions preying on powder. Burek even jumped some smaller cliffs and imagined he's a freerider:) Alpinistic skiing (III-, S3+)
