October snow!

The ski-touring season usually starts rather late, since you need a considerable amount of snow (also in the valleys) to cover all the rocks and bushes. However, this October was extremely "generous" and we received more than half a meter of snow above a 1000 meters. This was just enough to hit the slopes of Viševnik (2050m), which has one of the highest starting points and is therefore very handful for such occasions. We even had a professional photographer (Tomaž Gržo), while Prti was our instructor for riding the bushes (with no snow in sight:). In the end I can say that October simply gave us much more than anybody dared to expect.
