Triglavska Magistrala

Triglavska Magistrala is the mother of all ski-touring trips Slovenian mountains can offer. Starting somewhere around the Vogel ski-resort, a multi-day adventure takes you across the Juliske Alps ending in one of the glacier valleys above Mojstrana. In 2009, we have already done the variation that starts in Lepena, while this year we decided to do the classic. Below are the GPS tracks and a few photos, to give you a glimpse of this remote region, supreme skiing and the quality time, which I spent with my favorite crew - Artač, Keber and Leon.

Day 1: Žagarjev graben, Konjsko pass (1782m), Mohor (1847m), Komna hut (1527m)

Day 2: Lopučniška valley, Triglav lakes, Kanjavec (2569m), 5-star Prehodavci bivouac (2071m)

Day 3: Hribarice, Mišeljska valley, Velo polje, Konjsko pass 2 (2019m), Kalvarija, Kredarica hut (2515m)

Day 4: Triglav glacier, Begunjski vrh (2460m), Za Cmirom valley, Vrata (Mojstrana)
