Savinjsko Sedlo!

It was the end of February and in the valley everything was in bloom. When we started to pack the skies into the car, people looked at us like we were the 8th wonder of the world. We let them wonder and quickly jumped to Logarska Dolina. We left the car at Dom Planincev (837m) where serious snow started already. We walked on skies to waterfall Rinka and above it to Okrešel. As we gained altitude extreme powder started to accompany us. Keber, who was on foot the whole time, quickly realized the hostile situation as he trudged through the snow sometimes up to his waste. Leon and me advanced quickly on skies. We reached the top around one o'clock. We were right on the border and didn't hesitate to pee on the Austrian side:) In deep snow, Keber got nowhere, so he grumbled a little and cut a path straight up the mountain where the snow was a little more compacted. (Observe "happy" Keber on the picture!) At around 13:30 we skied down in almost perfect conditions - taking pleasure in every turn that we made. We enjoyed it so much that we almost forgot to stop at the final cliff above the waterfall. It was great skiing and we left a lot of unexplored terrain for the next time!
