Italy with Marmolade!

This year we ended the ski season in Italy.. and what a trip it was! We stayed in Arabba for a whole week and I won't even mention the sauna, swimming pool, fitness, ping pong and other luxuries:) For this time of the year it was still extremely cold and most important, it snowed almost every night. During the day we bathed in the sun, while the snow quality was absurdly good. We skied like crazy for 6 days! And had lots of fun in the nights - thanks to Logatec gang with capo-di-banda Kunc. In the end, Anto and me couldn't resist the sweet Marmolada desert (Marmolada -3343m- is actually the highest and probably the most beautiful mountain in the Dolomites). We skied from 3300m to the lake at 2000m. The conditions were heavenly perfect - 20cm of soft, dry powder on solid snow. It was certainly the best ride I ever had. (My subjective estimation would be alpinistic skiing dificulty of III-, S3+.) On the last day fell at least half a meter of new snow. Anton and me skied until they threw us off the pistes:) The elite members of the gang are: Andro, Košir, Jošt, Kunc, Anton, Grga, Gape and me.
