Bovec, Soča and Svinjak.

Bovec is an idyllic town in the middle of the Juliske alps, while Soča is probably the most fascinating river in the world.. and Svinjak (1653m), well lets say it's showing-off like the meanest mountain around:) Together with Ana, Adrijana and Marko, I spent an exciting weekend in this remote part of Slovenia. As usual, Bovec blessed us with culinary hospitality but also with a few portions of rain. Thanks to Marko, we made a 15-kilometer descent down the emerald waters of Soča with two mini-rafts. It was interesting to watch brave Czech tourist, that were tenaciously practicing their kayak technique. It is unbelievable how stubborn and target-oriented they are. One could be submerged in water for more than 10 seconds, however, there is no panic and he is back in the river in no time. For the last day we decided to tackle Svinjak - the Matterhorn of Bovec. Before we could realize, it was time to return back to the everyday life. But to think of it, the everyday routine makes adventure that more exciting.
