Kredarica in frost!

When thermometers show -17 degrees Celsius, it's time we start packing for another trip to the mountains:) (It's funny how snow and cold are not always complimentary - the coldest temperatures are from November till January, while multiple meters of snow usually start in beginning of February and last until the end of May.) Well this time we visited Kredarica (2515m), which is the highest mountain hut in Slovenia and lies on the east side of Triglav, just above the Triglav "glacier," and we got plenty of cold, wind and snow. It was Ana, Mare, Keber (making a comeback this year:) and my dog Bella, who had the least trouble with cold and was happily jumping around in her winter coat. On the way up we met legendary Rok Medeja, with skies on his back, who just couldn't wait to hit the slopes. In fact, this is his fifth ski trip in Slovenia this year - amazing!! After about three hours we reached our destination, while Mare decided to attack the summit of Triglav. At around three o'clock we were all back at the car.. a little tired, but most of all - determined to ski the next time. And at the moment it's snowing like crazy outside.. so I worry not!
